Customer Care Charter

Quinn’s are proud members of the Irish Association of Funeral Directors (IAFD)

The IAFD code of practice, under which we operate, is underpinned by the Customer Care Charter, which provides you with four important commitments:

Professionalism and Quality of Service

In arranging and conducting the chosen funeral.

  • Delivering high standards of competence and conduct
  • Serving your best interests as a customer

Integrity and Openness

In helping you make decisions about every aspect of the funeral being arranged, including its cost and payment

  • Leaving you in control of decisions
  • Agreeing charges for the funeral directors charges
  • Agreeing disbursements (third party charges)
  • Representing accurately services and charges in all advertising

Sensitivity and confidentially

In respect of every request and detail in providing for the wishes of the deceased and the bereaved

  • Arranging a funeral to your chosen and exact specification
  • Working in strictest confidence on your behalf before, during and after the funeral

Redress

In the event of any problem which may arise in the course of the funeral.

  • If you have a problem with funeral arrangements, the first thing to do is bring it to the attention of your funeral director
  • If your funeral director cannot resolve the problem to your satisfaction, write to the National Secretary of the  IAFD
  • The IAFD undertakes to investigate, in the strictest confidence every complaint received to seek a satisfactory solution, and to respond fully in writing within thirty days
